When we moved to the country we got a horse and the horse needed a companion, so we bought our first goat. She
was part nubian and part boer. The kids named her Pongo. Pongo just kidded her first babies in May 2009.
We decided that since we liked Pongo so well that we might want to get a few more. We ended up at Mt. Jolly and
came home with 11 goats! Oops... so much for a "few".
In the summer of 2008, our kids started showing in 4H and had alot of fun. The goats they showed had all been
purchased from local farms.
In the summer of 2009, we hit the show circuit with our own babies born and bred from our farm. We have had many
first places and one Grand Champion Wether title.
In January 2010, we had a horrific barn fire. That night we lost 24 of our beloved goats. So we re-built
the barn and changed the way we do everything.
